Caribou Sauna Sitting on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Northumberland Straight in NS, this sauna is the first structure for a new family compound. The structure is tilted at 7 degrees, the ideal angle to lean against the back wall of the cedar lined interior, which also doubles as the roof slope. For the exterior, we worked with a local mill to supply a rough sawn local wood. The result is a rustic exterior that will weather with the salt air, blending with the spectacular surroundings.
